Question

I would like to learn more about performance truck tires. I had a set of Yokohama AVS but my truck ate those for lunch. The rubber compound seems soft (of course, my lead foot didn't help).

On my 92 Ford ***kup, I had a set of Dunlop GT Qualifiers - but again - after about a years time (and with regular rotations) those tires were just about used up . . .

I like the way Pirelli Scorpions look and have read some articles on how well the seem to last. Anyone used them ?

How about BF Goodrich - they make a T/A Sport Truck tire - anyone used / using them ? How well are they holding up ?

I would like to eventually fill up some of that wheel well with big meaty street/sport tires (My Dunlops were 275/60's - I think the 16X8 factory rims will take a little wider tire than that.)

Thanks for you help with my project.
