Kudos to Cuda

Those are nice circle burners you posted on RR thread, what engines do/did you run in the sprint and outlaw?

Your right about looks take close-up pics at opening night, it's straight down hill from there LOL. The only thing that makes a end of season car look good, is 15 hooter's girls on it, in it and around it

My old heart can't take those Hooter's girls.....LOL

The 90 car ran a RAM Race Engines (Virginia) 360 with a back up 340 which seemed to be in the car more than the 360.

Ross Race Engines (Local) did the #3 360 Sprint motor...very nice work I still use him for all my Chebbyb stuff, what little I do..

Wesmar (Oklahoma) did our 410 program.

The #9 car ran a Joe Cantrell (Del Valle Tx.) Iron headed Sportsman Sprint motor.

Everything ran alcohol, the Sprinters all ran Kinsler Fuel injection, Waterman pumps and Isky Cams, exept the Mopar which used a Racer Brown custom grind, and a BG carb of course. Other than that nothing special, just your good basic around in a circle till you get dizzy stuff, decent set-ups, good drivers and very dependable power.

We actually had 5 Sprinters and 3 Modifieds that year, some rookies and sponsors kids were out there floundering around...but in over 3000 laps run that year we never turned a car over and never bought a top wing.

All I did was supervise the construction at our shop, do all the set-ups, tune the motors, referee the fights and pick up the money from the pay window.

With 22 Crew members all with too much adrenaline the fight refereeing was a full time job.

...and I just don't miss it either...we're having so much fun drag racing with all the kids now I have zero ambitions to even buy a pit pass.

Whenever we go to our place down south we'll walk over to the track (we own the adjoining property and the road into the track) and enjoy a couple of tall cool ones, a greasy burger and sit in the Grandstand with Mrs. Cuda.

I alway's tell her the top 3 after the second lap...she get's Pissed as it ruins all the suspence of the race, and sure enough 8 out of 10 times I'm right...LOL

Default Hooter's Girls....

Can anyone reference the RR Hooter post? I can't seem to find it, and I wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity to admire God's handywork.
