I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT YOU CANT RUN BIAS PLY TIRES ON THE REAR IF YOU HAVE RADIALS ON THE FRONT? sorry about the caps being locked. if this is true what tires have you guys run to get a good bite? i have radials on the front now and bfg drags on the back but dont seem to bite very good at all. looking for advice on what to do?

I believe the reason that "they" say you cannot is that the two different types of tire will lock differently. I do not know which one will lock up easier, but if it's the bias ply, big problem as you wave to the ass of your car as it goes by you.
I would think an adjustable proportioning valve would take care of this. I run bias on the back and radials up front, and have never noticed anything wrong, but that's just me. |
