300 plus in 89 w/throttle body injection

I've been told that I can't have a 300+ motor with my stock computer and throttle body injection. Also told that I can't run a map sensor that I would have to change to a mass air flow sensor. I occasionally pull a trailer but would like to have a hauling butt truck and still keep reasonable gas milage. impossible?

you can get an injection system that will support up to 600hp, but you may have to rewire your whole system. as long as you have an LA Small Block (273,318,340,360) you can build this no sweat. You can Get one from Rance Fuel Injection.

One possibility is the Holley Pro-Jection, it flows enough air and fuel for 300+hp. I have had one, and I think that in some applications it might be a good system. And the price is only 1/3 of the port injections, it doesn't make more power than a carb but has better driveability and mileage.
