Can someone PLEASE offer me some advice ? I hit a pothole (wasn't even deep)and I was going approx. 55 mph on a highway. Ever since, my whole steering column and my whole jeeps shakes. We replaced a leaf spring that was kinked in the back. Now my Jeep Wranger drives straighter, but the whole car vibrates
uncontrollably. It doesn't feel right at all. Any suggestions for my problem ? Money is tight so I don't want to play the "process of elimination game". Thanks ! |

I wanted to let you know I've found the problem with my 95 Jeep Wranger's vibration problem. It wasn't the tires.
It was due to bad universal joints in the rear. After replacing both rear U-joints, my Jeep is driving FINE ! Thanks and hope this info helps others. |

just a note: you can always determine a tire vibration from a drive shaft or drivetrain vibration by the vibrations frequency. A tire will only vibrate as fast as its rotation drive shafts turn really fast and they hum.
