Default 360 mag fuel injection to carb

What all is involved in taking a fuel injected 360 and turning it over to carburation?

Default 360

If you are talking a late model 360 magnum, you could swap to one of the MP carburated intakes such as the dual plane intake. You could run an electric fuel pump, just get the pressure down to 5-7 psi, or exchange the magnums short timing chain cover to the earlier model and run a fuel pump eccentric, and mechanical fuel pump.

Ya, I'm talking about a newer magnum 360. So pretty much all I have to do is swap the fuel pump and intake? sounds pretty simple almost too easy heh. Do the motor mounts match up with the older LA engines? how bout converter? Basically I'm looking at taking a new 360 magnum and putting it in place of a 318/904. Just trying to get a parts list together

Thats all MP does to the crate motors is slap on their carburated intake. I think they use the new timing cover though. I believe the blocks have provisions for both old and new mounting styles. The new engines have a different balance than the old ones, so the weights on your torque converter may need to be changed. Then the pulleys will have to be checked for alignment etc. Also check the water pump, I believe the new ones are reverse rotation?
