Question M1 Versus the others

As Mopar people we all want to think the M1 is faster than the other popular brands.
Well who has changed only the manifold and from what? How much better?
We have a 440 automatic which currently runs the Team G 7534 and are wondering about the New Victor or the M1,as to wich will give the best overall performance short of buying both to try.

I just purchased the new victor...good luck getting one they are getting rare already.
I like the look of it and the fact it has the bosses for nos or injection as I am doing. Someone on here did a test and compared them and the victor didnt perform as well but they did believe it was too much intake for their set up.

Do a search for big block intakes. A while back i posted the results from a comparrison that Mopar Muscle did not too long ago. I remember the RPM was tough to beat for street/strip applications and the new victor II was very impressive for the single planes.

I think you will loose a considerable amount of low end torque with the Victor, compared to the M1. The M1 make coonsiderly good low torque for a single plan maifold. As for the Torker II they give up maybe average of 20 horses across the board over the Duel plan RPM Perofmer. The Victor is pretty much Race only do to the low end power drop. But makes great power over 8,000 RPM's. In my opinion the best single plan intake for street/strip is the M1. Best duel plan is the Performer RPM for street/strip. Hope I could help.

Good luck!

They are good intakes. They been around for years. Probably one of the better single plans out there. I do belive there not as good as the M1 though.
