Default stumble, stumble, shift

i love catchy subject lines, dont you?
anyway, i just put a 750 holley and an ld4b on the 360 in my duster. its so much better than the single plane and 600 carter i was running. shes got a hell of a lot more torque now. so much fun.
anyway,im haveing a problem. after about 4 grand, she dies out. it feels almost like its running out of fuel, but i dont think this is the case.
to date i have tried:
new fuel pump (70 340 duster unit)
new filter.
check float bowl levels.
need to check and make sure electric choke is staying open.
checked timing.
checked plugs.
put in drygas.

thats about all i can think of to do. im normally a carter guy, so im not all that familiar with holleys. so what should i do? im trying to make it to the track on friday, so i need to fix it soon.
thanks, yall
mike

sound like your secondaries aren't doing their thing.

The Eddy has a linkage which is supposed to open them at about 65% of primary open position. There is also a weighted set of butterflies over the secondaries that should open to a vacuum signal. This top set should freely move when you press on it. Push em open, and look down the tube to see if the bottom set opens at full throttle.

If so, the next step is to check the jetting on the secondaries. They could be way too lean, or blocked.

The other thing that could be a problem is the ignition. If you have the original points system, ask someone else for help..I never liked em.

Wind it out till it sputters and shut the key off.

Pull over and check the float level if it's low you just found your problem, try the Carter 120 GPH mechanical or plumb in a Blue pump to see if it solves your problem.

Are you running one of those inline fuel filters?...if so THROW it as far away from your car as possible.

If the fuel delivery seems ok then raise the rear float level up and richen the rear air bleeds 1/4 turn.

Better or worse....?
