Default AFB#s

Need some AFB#s deciphered.....9755S.....2895. Its supposed to be a 750 with a manual choke. If this isnt a Chrysler set-up will the linkage from a 625 AFB (Chrysler) convert over to it? Manual choke also....Thanks

Thats the newwer version, 9755, isn't it?
That should except the adapter lever for Chrysler apps.
It's a 750.
9...series of carb
75 ...cfm rating
5 (or0 ) Chevy app.
Adding 1 to the end making it a 9756 would be a Chrysler and a 2 to the end like this (9757) would be a Ford.
Is it an Edelbrock or Carter. The adapter levers are different I believe. Not positive on it though.

Its a Carter AFB comp. series, Rumble. I was told that the adapters on my 600 AFB would adapt to this one. The only scary part is buying used! A new one up here is $380, I can get this one for $150.

It'll swap. Don't be afraid of cleaning on up and getting a kit to redo one. There a simple simple carb to work on.
Dip in solvent, completely submerged is best. Rinse with water well, compresed air to dry and clear passages out.
Reassmeble.
Total cake walk.

I didnt recognize the other numbers you gave though.

I'll do that Rumble....pick up the kit with all the goodies.
Well the shorty headers are in and we started on the exhaust today (2 1/2", mandrel bent). No way these pipes will fit on top of the centerlink. Thats with a starter from a 95 Dakota. Nice little unit, real torquey. The solenoid is on the outside of it so its actually wider than the stock unit. 3 1/2" shorter though. The collectors do not sweep back from the block, just straight down the middle. Between the solenoid, torsion bar and clutch linkage just too tight. On the idler side the idler ear connection on the Kmember would have to be cut and even then it would have been too tight. I think this is because its an older style Kmember. No "H" connection for idler arm. Wish I would have tried Spitfires instead of Hedman shorties. Oh well its still not the nightmare of the "full" lenghth Hedmans. This puppy was LOUD this morning with the open shorties on the way over to my Mig equipped buddys
