Default manual steering lubrication?

i just switched over from power to manual steering . i bought the new manual box off of ebay and it was shipped dry.what kind of fluid goes in this or does it even need a fluid? thanks

There is a fill plug on the top, stick your grease gun in the hole and pump. I would suggest working the gear back and forth as you fill it so you get any trapped air out of it. Everyone I've taken apart has been packed full of wheel bearing type grease.
