Thumbs up Mobil truck dyno testing

Found a new local guy that has a portable chassis dyno.We will test our 440 drag car .This will include back to back pullswith a Team G vs M1 with and without a plenum divider and reversion plate.the readout gives fuel pressure ,60/1/4 times,hp/tq,air fuel etc.Our test will also use adjustable header extensions for the ultimate determination of l/r lenghts.Well post the results in the weeks to follow when we can get car out of the garage(hugh pile of snow).Cost $120 for 3 pulls

Question I wonder if this is the same guy

that is going to have his equipment at our May 4th show?

At the Mopars Unlimited - Seattle Chapter February 25th Club meeting a gentleman gave a presentation to the group about his mobile chassis dyno. He plans to bring it to our May 4th Springroundup and provide reasonably priced dyno pulls for anyone who wants it.

I plan to have my tuning problems sorted out by then and will put my car on it.

This could be one of the real focal points of a great show! I can't wait!

The sun is shining bright in Calgary and no snow @ garage exit so send him South until it warms up in the North sometime in July.
Actually, I would like to contact him to see about running some pulls with my Dart - maybe we can talk Dave571 into arranging a Saturday "Power Pull" at his shop in Calgary??

thanks

Hey holeshotb, is that STEWSDYNO from Edmonton? I talked to him last year at Bud Park and he was going to rent the dyno by the hour at his shop. I am going to call him up when all the snow is gone and tune in my new Holley.

Yep thats the GUY,he told me $60 1 pull or 80 for two $120 for 3 but we may rent it for the 1/2 day and save the wear / tear on the car for the big IHRA event this year.We entered # 12 of the 150 spots which all sold out .

I'd totally be into that ,if we can round up enough guys to make it worth his while.

Even if we had to get some brand X guys, as long as they're willing to pay.

I've been running with the resto guys for some time, and not too many of them would be interested. If any of you are in the calgary area, email me and we'll see what we can put together.
