Hey guys, I need help on this one. I've had my heart set on using cragar SS rims for my 69 cuda. I need to run 4" sbp 14" rims and want to run an 11" wide tire. Basically a P 275 60 14 are the ones my buddy let me trial fit but I dont like his rims. The problem is that apparently cragar only has the sbp up to 6" wide. What other makes are out there that have the rim size I need thats aprox 8" wide and hopefully give me that "look". Any Ideas?... Thanks for the input..........dj

sorry, but these days your out of luck.cragar did make a 14x6,a 14x7 reverse rim,and even a 15x8 standard offset in the 4",but I heard only the 14x6 is still out there.I'll check cause I'm in the tire business .Search your local swap meets and local parts papers for a used set or you can settle for a custom set of centerlines in any bolt pattern or offset you want.Keystone even made them in 6" and 7" in a natural aluminum color years ago.I've had sets of them all.

What about buying the 6" and having some place like Stockton widen them for you?

Mr. Jones, I have 4 "mag" wheels, 14X8, with the small bolt pattern. They appear to be in good condition. I have never used them; I bought them at a auto swap meet in Los Angeles some 8 years ago. They are mounted with worn-out Mickey Thompson tires; I believe the size is GR-14. They are wide. They are sitting in my dads back yard some 40 miles away. Let me know if you are interested so that next time I visit I can take some measurements for you, and probably get some photos. I can't make out what brand they are; they are that generic wide 5-spoke aluminum wheel. I will also have to check if all wheels are 8-inch wide.
fyi, I am still waiting to hear from my brother who expressed an interest in them not too long ago. You can post a response here, or Email me at chuyrobles@sdccu.net. |

Their homepage is at http://www.stocktonwheel.com/ or you can call them at 800-395-9433. I don't know what they'd charge you, but if you don't want your kid, I doubt they would either!

I had a pair of rims widend for a customer a few mos. back.I believe they were near 100.00 each to widen from 6" to 9".I'd keep looking for used rims.
