are pushrods lengths the same in small blocks?
I just finished bolting up my 318 with 360 heads
I didn't have them milled or anything and am wondering if the 318 pushrods are long enoghe. right now its not pushing any of the vavles down and since this is my first motor i'm not sure if thats normal. It does have hydraulic lifters |

nope
pushrods in roller equiped engines are shorter. if the engine was originally a non roller and you put a new non roller cam in it, then all should work. the lifters probly just need to pump up first.
