installing 904 in challenger
Im bolting the 904 back in the Challenger. When I put the torque converter back into the transmission, it fell into place nicely. Dropped in deeper than I actually expected it to. Im sure I had it in as deep as it should have gone.
Next I bolted the transmission to the motor. Next the flexplate to the torque conv. At this point, I actually had to pull the torque conv. slightly out of the transmission and towards the motor for the torque conv. to meet the flexplate. I think I may have had to pull it out about half and inch or more. Is this normal or have I done something wrong? Thanks for all your help as usual Chris (I picked up Cordoba that will be donating the motor, a 400, which will be stroked for the Challenger at a later date) Cant wait to go fast!!!!!!! |
