Exhaust Q.
I called some shops to do my dual exhaust and one guy told me that he couldn't put 2 1/4 with the stock manifolds ( The car is a 69 Valiant w/360 auto trans.) anyone know if this is true? What I was going to do is put the dual on and then put headders on at a latter date (when the money alows). Thanks.

Find a Better Shop
I just had dual exhaust put on my 66 coronet. I got 2 1/4 pipes, I just asked nice and he said that putting an adapter on was no problem. The pipes go to 2 1/4 right after they make the bottom turn. They also installed an x pipe, custom tips, and fabricated all new mounts. I paid 500 bucks which could be high or low I'm not sure but I had seen a few examples of this guys work and it was excellent to say the least. Also included is a 3 year warranty.
