Default carbs tilt 1/2"

JUst put a 440 with 2X4 tunnel ram in a V drive boat, when this gets on the step and is trimed out the carbs are going to be tilted about 1/2" to the rear.

Carbs are E-brock 600 ( man will not change cards so dont go there), cant mount carbs side-saddle( wont spen $ for linkage).

Can I get this set-up to run like this are should I have some spacers made to make the carbs set level?

Or is that the point the front suspensions, and driver agility tests begin?

No that's just when it settles back down. And as long as it's still pointed in the same direction it started in everything is OK. If it's not, then we got a problem. That's only happened once, and since I've tied it down considerably.

They make angled open spacers for carbs so they will set level on drag cars. You'll have to look for them. Jegs has a big selection in there book all the time. Might try there first.

Get some 1" open spacers and have them angle milled but you might have to open up the holes in the carb. and use an angled washer under the nuts to get the carb. bolted down good..
Just my $.02
