I have a Lakewood scattershied, and a trans blanket is minimum.
I have a 4 spd. What tranny are you running? Auto or stick? |

Go with the scatter shield. The blanket isn't designed for daily driving, so you would have to strap it on before you start racing and then pull it off before you head home.

The blanket trapps more heat in the tranny. The CSI shield combines flexplate and tranny coverage in a single unit that is light and form fitting to the tranny.
