small 3 1/2" GTX speakers
Anyone know where to get the 3 1/2" replacement speakers that sit in the top of the dash? All the ones that I've looked at in the stereo stores have rather large magnets that will not allow the speaker to fit. The original ones have a small magnet and ther's not a lot of extra room. Any one had this problem before? Thanks, Bill E.

3 1/2" speakers
That's not what I'm really asking about. I'm looking forthe 3 1/2" speakers that will fit inthe holes on the left and right sides of the dash. The center 4x7 speaker is not the problem. Thanks, Bill E>

Are you still interested in the 3 1/2" dash mounts for your "X"? If so I think I might have a resource for ya! I'm redoing my stereo for my RR that has the same set-up that your dealing with. I'm going the route of installing cross-overs.... so just alittle better than stock 8-track/AM. Let me know I think I can help.

Hey, thanks for the reply. This car originally had the AM/8 track but it was taken out and replaced with just an AM. I realized this when I decoded the fender tag and now I don't think I'm going to screw around with it right now. I did find some crappy 15 0r 20 watt 3-1/2" replacement speakers at Radio Shack though, if anyone is interested. The magnets are smaller than the good speakers, so they should fit just fine. Thanks, Bill E.

How do ya like your 03' 2500? I've got an 02' I like alot but I'm not toooo pleased w/gas mileage. I've got just over 15,000mi. on her and thats really my only major gripe. Bought to haul my project around. She pulls the "BEAST" without a hint of labor.

Hi Whiteowl. I really like the new truck but basically have the same comment regarding gas mileage. I used it to haul the GTX up from LA and it had absolutely no problem over the grapevine. Sorta like the original HEMI commercial only I was hauling a 440 GTX.
