Default cheep blower system

If you want cheeep in my humble opinion buy a mustang centrifigal setup off ebay and fabricate a bracket for it for your engine.
you should be able to get most all of it done for under a grand.
I am running a vortec supercharger on my 440 Charger and I just found a bracket that was close and adapted it.
I always like to take my own path to a finished product (also did not have much money to throw at this project.) so I found most of my stuff on ebay.
I use a blow through setup (holley 750 mechanical secondaries) and a really decent JDM blow off valve (very important part!) I live in denver and have a 72 low compression motor (8.2:1 ) so the supercharger works for me.
Nothing shows hood is stock but the wicked whine coming from under the hood is very obvious.
It was fun to build and I feel like I created something (when I was a kid there were no kits just welding and cutting torches) Any way good luck hope this helps

I've got a Mr. Norms Kit and have fabricated an additional mount for it that is stronger and better the original casting. (The original castings broke ears off easily) Take the recommendation of the previous gentleman and find everything on E-bay. By the way this is a Paxton SN-60 through SN-2000 system. Beware the pulleys can get costly.

The bracket machining and material is around $400.00 and thats on the high side. The material is 1/2" thick 6061-t651 aluminum and steel stand-offs.

If you get to the point of no return and start buying parts. I'll send you the blue-prints and you can fabricate it yourself.

By the way, pay particular attention to the fuel system if your doing the supercharger route. Cam selections are endless since the 302 Fords made supercharging a breeze.

Sounds like a cool set up, do you have any pictures? I would like to do something like that on my car....How much boost does it run? My problem is now though I have a fairly stout 440 already and I dunno if I could just slap a supercharger on top...
