Default new style pilot bearing

Which end of the new style pilot bearing goes in the crank? I have one of the new type bearings for magnum motors that I want to put in my 340's crank and I have no clue which end should go into the crank and which should be facing outwards. There is one side with a chamfered edge and the other looks like it had about a 1/16" milled off the outer edge. Thanks in advance.

I believe that the chamfered edge goes in first to help it center in the hole. I could be wrong though.
