pinging
i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 v8 5.9liter truck and it is pinging and i have done everything i was told to by the dealer. i had new intake manifold gaskets put in , i had a new catylitic converter put on , i changed the plugs, i tried to run the higer octane gas. they said the programming is up to date.. and it is still pinging. does anyone have any suggestions?

What brand of plugs did you put in? Champions are famous for pinging, and I've heard of lots of people getting rid of pinging by replacing Champions with another brand, AC's or Autolite's.
