Kickdown Lever on 76 volare?
Hi
Well I got all I need to convert my 76 volare to a super six. Here is my problem. My 76 mopar manual and my extensive research tell me that there was no super six or 2bbl setup from the factory in '76. So I am worried that my tranny doesnt have the right lever on it for the kickdown. Since I dont really know where the lever is or what it looks like, I was hoping for some help here. Should my tranny have this lever an if so, where the hell is it? I looked for it but I dont see anything that seems to fit the bill. Help! -Charles |

That's funny I had a '76 Volre' with a 2 bbl super six. By the way the 2 bbl. is what makes it a super six. The kick down lever is the top one on the tranny and the bottom one is the gear selecter. I'd use the lokar cable if doing a swap instead of hunting down the linkage. It's much easier and simple to use.
