Default 318 propane

Whats the difference between a 318 propane 318 gas? I've been told that the 318 propane just has a different induction and that all I have to do is put on a new carb and intake ! The engines only got 50000 miles on it and I believe it may be the good basis for a 318 build up. Also its a ex millitary so it should have the moly rings shouldn't it..(meaning minimal bore wear?)

Probably only needs a different carb. The intake should be ok. Then do the usual such as check the timing and all that.

YOu want to go to propane? or you have a propane engine that you want to go to gas?

The timing will definetly need to be tweaked on no matter what!
