Default rear windsheild install help, 72 dart swinger..

well, finally got the windsheild back in the dart and so far, it doesnt leak!, we installed it like i was told: run a bead of sealant around the pinchweld, install the big rubber gasket onto the pinchweld, then make sure the locking seam is unzipped, install the glass starting at the center of the bottom of the gasket and work it in all the way around, pulling out on the un-locked seam to get the glass in, then zip the seam up.
well, the back gasket is a new one from year one and doesnt have a locking seam in it, so how do i install the glass back into the gasket after the gasket is installed in the car when there is no seam to pull out? anyone done it and know?
thanks

If this is the same kind of rear window as mine you can use a 1/4" rope and rope it in. Set the rope in the windshield rubber groove and apply slight pressure on the glass as you pull the rope out from the inside of the car. This is a 2 man job. Leave yourself about a ft. of rope at the top of the glass and pull slowly as your buddy applies pressure on the outside. The rope will help to pull the rubber away enough to let the glass go in. Does this make sense? Try to visualize it and see what I mean. Sometimes I don't explain things well but this trick will work.

first time we did it, we put the glass in the gasket and roped the whole thing in, but it leaked because of no sealant between the gasket and body, so we cant do it like that this time.
