Cyl. head cc question.
Just a quick question for anybody;
I have a '79 , 318. How many cc's are these heads chambers? (Sorry, didn't take off the valve cover for numbers.) Anybody know the comp ratio? No guessing now. |

From the way my '78 360 ran, it must have had about 223 cc combustion chambers, and I think (without the numbers) that the '79 318s were the same.

LOL, Hey Doug. I know what ya mean. This Magnum has a 318 that has the power to chirp the tires on take off, then die in power.
Previous owner upgraded with; Orange box and distrib, performer intake and carb and half of an exhaust. I'm use to another 42+ hi comp cubes, no emissions. |
