What ever happened to the new generation "Ramcharger" they were going to re-release in 2000? Always had this vision of trannie shops going beserk when the kiddies got hold of a V-10 suburban assualt vehicle.

it's still on the table supposedly... jeep was going to build it, but those plans were scrapped and now dodge is going to make the fullsize. named the Adventurer so far from what i hear. don't know when it'll be made either, i'd guess 2004 at the earliest.

the proposed Adventurer will be more on the scale of the Excursion and Suburban. Far as I have heard, there are no plans for a two-door Ramcharger type vehicle.

Maybe no plans for a 2-door ramcharger in the U.S. but they are made and sold in mexico, in a 2-wheel drive version since 1990.
