Default Hey Cuda66273 read this

Hey cuda66273 i know i owe you a good post so here it is!
About a year ago i tore up a cam lobe and that led to a total rebuild so i figured when in rome i'd do it up.
My 340 has Speed Pro Forged Pistons(1.840) P/N 2316f (60over), Sealed Power Moly Rings, Clevite 77 bearings all around, and Comps Cams 268 Xtreme Energy Hydraulic cam 268/280 .477/.480. It has a Steel Internally balanced crank, Rebuilt x-heads port matched to an edelbrock rpm performer. The engine has 9.8:1 compression. The car is a '73 cuda with a 4-speed and 3.23 8 3/4 posi real . It had a stock distributer and an edelbrock 750 Preformer. I was trying not to build too much of a motor because i wanted to take it on long trips. The day i layed into it, it sounded like it had marbles in the cylinders. I started dealing with cuda66273 and he found the problem was not enough fuel delivery. Man i felt stupid. Bigger cam more horsepower yeah you need more fuel! I sent him my distributer and ignition box (MoPar Orange box) and had him dial in the distributer and check the box. He also set me up with a 650 Demon Carb (re jetted) and Carter Strip fuel pump and all the lines . He recommended a crome MoPar Box Which i got because i didn't want to go MSD. The difference is INCREDIBLE!!!. The floats are dead center in the sights and the plugs have a perfect burn! NO OFF THE IDLE STUMBLE that i used to get with the edlebrock. SHE JUST GOES!!!. Starts first shot everytime even sitting for a month. Also the vaccuum is steady at 13-14psi. Before it was 12-14 real wavy. If anyone out there is considering a distributer recurve or a Carb talk to cuda66273. No More ocatane boost too. There used to be 2 things i swore by but now its MoPar and Centerforce clutches. and now Demon Carbs !!!!

you do know that that's what your car is supposed to run like, right? no stumble, good plug burning, good throttle response, etc etc.
i never seem to have to mail all of my engine parts away to get my vehicles to behave properly.
