I've heard that DC has put a hold on the production of Dodge Rams in the Solar Yellow color. I've also learned that this is because
they are planning on making the color a " limited edition " on the Rams, but the R/T Dakota will still be available in Solar Yellow. When I think about it, you sure don't see all that many Solar Yellow Rams out there compared to the Dakota's. Anybody have anymore info. on this?

I have some 2000 dealer brochures. Acording to the Ram Pickup brochure Solar Yellow is only available on 1500 series trucks.
I swear I saw '99'2500's in yellow.
No Solar yellow in 2000 Dakota brochure.

You guys are making me feel pretty good! I just bought a 1999 Ram Sport 4X4 in Solar Yellow. It is real easy to find in a parking lot! I think they should put this color on a limited number of Intrepids and possibly that new concept "Cuda". It looks great on everything!

I have a solar yellow dodge 99 360 4x4 quad cab and I live in temple and there are only 2 other solar yellow trucks around one is a single cab and the other is like mine. But I am the only one who has a fully decked out one including leather and woodgrain dash.

same with my intense blue... if you'll recall, solar yellow and intense blue came out at the same time. at least around here, i don't see too many in my color, and even less with the driftwood grey on the bottom like mine. i saw some guy with an intense blue dually with solar yellow stripes...odd combo.

i don't know about his but the complete set-up is done by ProFinish 219-897-2597 and featured in the Feb 2000 Mopar Muscle. Haven't called on the price yet but I'm hoping that it'll adapt for a KB supercharger cause it bolts to the top of the throttle body

Thumbs up

Terry DeLong is the guy you want to talk to at Pro Finish. Those of you that have dealt with Terry before know what I'm talking when I say that he is a first-class individual. He knows his stuff and will hook you up.

This is definitely one of the wisest decisions that I have made while building both of my Dodge Rams. Hope this helps you guys out some.
