Default big block dart headers

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a set of exhaust headers for a 71 Dart with a 383/auto? I want a set of street headers not race headers.
Thanks,
Brad

Default Friendly Headers

I have seen the Schumacher "shorty" headers on their display and they will fit and last. Hedman has a shorty version that will fit nicely too.

The Schumachers and Hedman models were reviewed in a Mopar Action article in the last year and I think it was Rick Ehrenberg wrote the article and gave them both high marks.

I am looking at the same situation because the early "B" engine bay is nearly as restrictive as the "A" body's and I don't need the full length race headers to make me happy.

Go here

www.bigblockdart.com

click on exhaust tech

They will shead some light on the subject. I was unaware that headman made a street shorty header for Big mill A bodys. They do make husler fenderwell headers though.

I have a 73 Duster with a 440 which I purchased the the hole shuamacher kit headers, mounts and torque strap. It awsome, fits like a glove and are probably the best quality headers out there. As far as quality they put my Hooker Super Comps to shame. They have way thick flanges and tubes.

Buy the whole kit which is around 700-800 bones depending on what coating you go with. Pretty good coin, but when you open the box, you will thank me. These are the only street header out there in my opinion, CCPA makes them but more race header, which burnt plug wires and starters are of the norm.

Sorry I dont classify fenderwell headers as for street use?

Default used set

check ebay....right now there are 2 different sets that might work for you.

a shorty set and a set listed as 'A' body 440 headers.
