Default 8.75" axle adjustment?

After much ado, I finally located a bearing spreader and repaired my axle bearing. I have the rear end set up properly, and I am ready to go besides the fact that I don't have a clue how to adjust my axles. Can anyone give me a procedure, and I am sure that there is an endplay spec for them too, so if anyone can clue me in on how to and how much, it would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks in advance.

The adjustement side axle should be on left or passenger side. Bolt the driver soide in tight ready to go. Slide in the passenger side axle which the end adjsuter should be backed off. Turn Counter clockwise to back it off or make more endplay. Start turning it clockwise to take the endplay out of it. I tighten it up untill I barley can feel endplay at all, with the feel trick. I have never used a dial indicator for this. Suposed to be .008 I belive. Button it up go play for a few minutes, do some dognuts/burnouts (how I treat my stuff) and come check it again. It can always loosen al ittle after a while, but never tighten it self.

Thanks, fellas. It's a shame I can't afford those fancy gaskets--guess some RTV is gonna have to work (selling the car anyway). The car had gaskets on it, but they were paper, and they tore when I pulled the axles. I'll try the procedure when I can remember to bring my dial indicator home from work.
