Default '61 morris minor

I'am putting a BB in a morris minor for the drag strip I need some input as how a 474 from muscle motors perform. I'am shooting to run the car in supergas 9.90. The car only weighs in @ 1704 with me in it 190lbs. Car is already set up for anything.

its gonna be sick, i can already tell you that.
if you can give me some info on the minor, i can plug it into the dektop drag i have, and well see what we get.
im gonna need tranny style, rear end ratio, wheelbase, etc.
also, need the torque and horsepower numbers.
stall speed
tire size
everything you can think of, pretty much.

KEWL

there was a VWbug running a 440 at the strip nearby
"victim of changes"
I heard from a buddy I work with of a lime green 454 equiped cavalier he saw-he talked to the guy-it was on the street

COOL!

I have onwed 3 Morris Minors, allof them pretty much stock. But theres a few guys over here have V8'd them and they go well. Did see a 440 powered one but never saw it run at the strip.

Do B-Body torsion bars fit?

Please put some photos up of this beast!

If you need any trim or other parts for it I now a few good places over here for Minor stuff will probably ship to you no sweat. Loads of the chrome etc. is still available NOS or repro, and not expensive either.

It relly isn't that hard to put a big block in it because the front end is a art morrison with disc brakes. I have also stretch the wheel base to 92". The seat is already in the back. Im also going to run the fender well headers like a funny car. It should be a fun ride down the 1/4 mile don't you think. I saw one that was 88" wheel base at the goodguys show at pacific raceways(kent,Wash) that had a 454 in it and drove it to the track.
