roller cam - what do you think
In a 386ci small block with 9.98CR, reworked CI308s w/ 11/32 undercut 202/1625, Airgap, 750 Speed Demon, TTis, A727, 3000Cv and 3.91s do you all think a hydraulic roller cam setup with 510/525 & 232/242*@.050 would work decently for a street/strip combo to get a 3300# Dart into the 11s?
Is it too much cam for the street or not enough for the strip? thanks for any feedback - good or bad |

You need to get a grip on RPM. Hydraulics don't like anything over 6000, maybe a bit more. If you want to hit 7000 rpm, you'll need a solid lifter.

If it dont make 11's its not the cams fault. It will be a good choice.

My AMX with hydaulics doesn't have a problem at 7000 rpm.
Neither did my 273 back in the '70s |
