First of all I love this site,i`ve it for a week now and it already helped me with a couple of things.
This is more about the history of my car. I know my car was imported by a french dealer in Paris. The only fender tag found on the car was placed by the french dealer. So i don`t have a fender tag with all my options and i dont have the sheet with options.I was wondering if it is possible to find out what the original settup was/is. My number is: JH 23 N08 176068. If there is someone out there who could help me I would be really pleased because this is bothering me for 3 years now. Thanks, Joost the Netherlands 1970 challenger |

All the export cars I have seen are the same as domestic production as far as fender tag placement but they have an additional silver tag that says made in the USA or Chysler Corporation Detroit Michigan.
Have you looked in the usual places for build sheets (behind glove box, rear seat back or bottom, under carpeting, behind front seat backs or up in headrest or under front seat bottoms) Should be a Y09 code on top right of build sheet for export order. Don't know if it was a typo but vin should read JH23N0B. B was for Hamtramck Mi. assembly plant Hope this helps some. ------------------ 70 challenger r/t conv 98 V-10 Q/C SWB 4X4 72 383 swinger |
