Default dp4b intake...anygood?

I've seen a couple of these on ebay.

They are an edelbrock piece with a chrysler number on them too.

Are they any good? Som of this old school stuff is really good, and some of it is just really old.

Application is a B engine.

any input is appreciated

The DP-4B is a good intake for a low deck. It's a dual plane with big runners and a smoother approach angle to the head. I'd say it's better than the current performer but not as good as the performer RPM. My Brother ran one on a 400 with a 284/484 cam, 1 3/4 headers, 9:1 compression and a 750 Carter comp series carb. It worked well.

The manifold may be ok, but the shipping is ridiculous.

Cost about 50-60 bucks us to get it here.

I'll find one locally.

Any leads on something similar AJ?

I see them from time to time at the swap meets, but currently my stock is very lean. I sold off everything I don't need to finish my truck. Last DP-4B I had was about 7 years ago, and I put it on a friends 383 Dart. Shipping to Canada sucks, don't it!? (that's why guys like Nigel Mills at National Moparts up in Beaverton take a truck and a trailer down into the southern states to nab good sheet metal and parts, you can see the parts first hand and not get killed on the shipping).
