A body discs
Just finishing disc conversion 73 - 76 on a 66 dart. With tires on ground both sides are toed way out does this usually happen during a conversion or is something wrong?

I'm assuming you changed the upper control arms at the same time.
That said, you will for sure need an alignment. I't's not unusuall to be way off after that kind of work. eyeball the tow adjustment so it can be driven to an alighnment shop. Did you use the same lower BJ? (one for a 66 car) I think the tie rod end goes in, in a different direction on the newer one. Using the newer one, and just spinning the tie rod over will throw off the steering geometry quite a bit. |
