h-pipe measurement?
finally getting around to installing my exhaust pipes from the collectors to the mufflers. How far back from the collectors should the h-pipe be?

Wont really matter as long as its smaller than the system and is betwwen the headers and the mufflers .

For convinience, the H-pipe is normally placed towards the back of the tranny's tailshaft.
If I recall correctly, proper placement is 8 - 13 inches from the collectors. Honestly, for most applications, an X-pipe is better. |
