Will 265;s fit on a 67' B-Body
14x7 and the tires are P265-50R/14
I have found some for sale, would they fit on the back of my 67 coronet? Anyone know? |

i'd imagine if your backspacing is correct. my bro has 275/60 R15 Road Hugger's on the back of his '71 B-Body, and they snug up into the wells real nice.
i've got 295/50 R15 Road Hugger's on my roadrunner, but i need about an inch more backspacing...which, i'm not gonna worry about due to my wheels were $600 each... |

TIRES
well i got 235/60/15's on my 66 coronet and I have about 1/2 inch gap to the outside wheel well and about a inch in the inside of the wheel well with the 15x7 police wheel. The guy at the tire store, who i have delt with my entire tire burning time, did measured it and that was the bigest he said would fit. Just my dealings.
hope this helps, tool man |

The rear wheelwells on 66-67 B-body cars are narrower than 68+ B-bodys. Just look at how the wheelwell opening is cut.
I have P255-60-15's mounted on 15X7 cop car wheels. I have seen P275-60-15's mounted on 15X8" on the rear of 66-67 B-bodys if you use a 4.5" backspacing on the wheels. You have to let the rear axle hang to get the tires into the wheelwell. It makes for a tight fit, but it looks sweet. I'm getting ready to buy a set of 15X8" wheels for the rear of my Coronet and probably 15X6" for the front. I just can't figure out which wheels would look the best. Anyone have any good ideas? I'm thinking of either Weld Pro Stars, Weld Rodlites, or maybe Centerline Satin finish...except I would have to go with 15X7's because I don't think Centerlines 15X8.5" would fit, and they don't show a 15X8". Good luck, Mopar_Maniac |

Friend of mine had 265/50-15's on 15X8 Weld superlites on a '66 Charger. Should have the same wheel house room you have.

I have 275-60x15 on 15x7" plain steel wheels, 4 1/4" backspace, on my '67 Belvedere. They are a tight fit, even with the wheellips folded up for more room. If I was to do it again, I'd go no bigger than 255-60x15. To remove the 275s, I have to jack up on the body and let the axle housing drop down to snake the tire out of the wheelwell. Besides, a 275 tire is a little too big for a 7" rim, they need an 8" for best tread contact and wear.

Oh yeah, I'm taking the 275-60s off my '67 Belvedere and mount them on 15x8" ralleys for the back of my '70 Super Bee. The Bee has plenty of room for this tire/wheel combo.
