I don't know about the drum-to-drum measurements, but I do know the axle dimensions chart is inaccurate at best and actually wrong in a couple of places.

I will be making some minor modifications to the chart that is in the sticky, so that I can bring it back on line. The dimensions that are in that chart are accurate and came directly from Chrysler service manuals.

I actually got that chart with permission from Frank Adkins' Chrysler Performance Upgrades. It also matches an in-depth article written by Gary Lewallen, and it also matches the Mopar Chassis Manual, 9th edition. I only want accurate info on the site, so I'd change it in a second if it's inaccurate, but I'd have a hard time believing all three of those published sources were wrong.
Hostler, if you have better info, maybe you could fill me in. The site isn't very useful if the info is wrong, regardless who wrote it...

The correct info is now online, again. I have put the credits in that were asked for. Just take a look at the sticky above.

The information was provided by one of our members and he got the information from the different service manuals.

Well, I would go with the information that came from the factory service manuals. The sheet that I said was incorrect shows only 2 dimensions (backing plate-to-backing plate) for the B-body rears, when I know for fact that there were 4 dimensions, through the years.

If you don't like the one that I have posted (with dimensions from the experts), don't use it. Feel free to use the incomplete/inaccurate digrams instead.
