Default Synthetic Oil?

Does anyone know where I can get synthetic oil for my cummins?
I'm supposed to use 15w 40.
I have a 91 and a 99 and I want to use synthetic in both.

Thanks
Walter

Amsoil makes a diesel oil. Studies have shown Amsoil is the best synthetic on the market. Check out Amsoil.com.

If you want the best synthetics for diesel, than use either Redline 5W40 or Mobil Delvac 1 5W40.

I have no long term experience with Amsoil.
I do have 25 years of private use of Mobil Delvac.
Never had an oil related problem since I started using it.In fact, never had oil consumpton since using it.
There may be oils out there that are equal.
Two of the motors are Cummins, most of the rest are Dodge except two chevys.
Use what is available and close by in case you forget to pick it up before the drain plug comes out!!

You can run synthetics without any problems. I see a lot of diesel rated synthetics going to a 5w40 weight and this will definitely help in colder climates. Seeing how you live in Florida a 15w40 would be fine as well.

If you are looking for a true synthetic (Group IV or Group V oil) Mobil Delvac One and Amsoil (personally I would shy away from the 5w30 with the Amsoil) seem to be pretty good choices.
