69 Gtx

Hey guys, this is just an update. I want to thank all of you for your contributions in solving my many problems. The car is now running really good. I've worked out the problems with the clutch linkage, carburator, back up lights, console wiring and a host of other small problems. Just have some small details to work out but have been out crusing the car for the past three days. Don't see many mopars around here so it's a real head turner. Had a rice burning Honda with a humongous air foil tracking me today, but when I kept downshifting at every approaching red light, he was just content to stay back and listen. One guy told me "hey, nice roadrunner". I said it was a GTX and he just kept repeating himself. I finally said thanks and drove off. Maybe the color threw him off. The last guy painted it Vitamin C Orange with black hood accent stripes. I don't think that was an available color on the 69 model. The original color was F5 Green but I'm going to keep it Orange. My kid wants me to take it up to Reno for Hot August Nights because of the preponderance of Chevy and Ford products up there. Very few MOPARS up there, but I really enjoy the ones that I see. Thanks again everyone for your help. Regards, Bill E.
