340 Intake #'s
Anyone know if there are any specific numbers stamped on a 340 intake manifold to make sure it is a 340 manifold? I'm talking about oem factory manifolds.

Year One casting number info page (click here)
They don't list casting numbers for manifolds, but this should help. |

Yeah bratpack, the Chassis book has a list of what I assume to be NHRA acceptable casting #'s from '68 thru '73. May not be complete, and the extra digit on the '70 4bbl might be a typo.
'68-'69 4bbl cast iron 2531915 '70 6bbl aluminum 3418682 '70 4bbl cast iron 34628458 '71-'72 4bbl cast iron 3512100 '73 4bbl cast iron 3671918 |

The numbers I have are 3462848. Sounds like the 70' 4bbl without the extra 5 that's possibly a typeo. Anyone have a 1970 340 4bbl manifold to confirm?
