Ford Still Shipping Explorers with Firestone Wilderness AT's on them. Saw 3 truck loads this morning. So Ford can lie all they want, they really don't care!

Just my 2 cents!

Due to the recall, the dealer cannot sell them until after the tires have been replaced.

Boy was I wrong about that last comment I made.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and on my way out I saw a brand new Explorer (temp tags from Saturday) with the Fireston Wilderness AT tires on it.

I was kind enough to leave the owner a note telling him/her that the tires were recalled and they should have them replaced ASAP.

They probably already knew BUT like most people that buy them...they arnt too smart.
I went to a car driving thing where a leasing company (I think it was eddigns.com??) had about 30 cars..among them were Nissan X-terra, TOyota 4runner,Nissan path finder, GMC Sierra, Ford Expedition(or explorer, I dont know)Dodge Durange(4.7 liter 2wd) and the a Jeep Grand Cherroke..THe Nissan X-terra and the Ford were both total Junk..THe Jeep was a complete dissapointment. It wallowed throught the corners like a stuck pig and did the 4X4 pretty uninpressivelu. The GMC and Dodge handled the offraoding course the best and had far and away the most torque. The Nissan pathfinder and 4runner were the most car like. THe last 4 I mentioned were the best.
