ok here is one that has got me stumped.... my buddy has a 70 cuda that he ha owned for 10+ years and is just now getting ready to fix up.... it has been sitting for the last 10.... the problem we have is the vin # says it is a /6 car , i didnt think they put /6 in the barracudas?????? i used the mopar engine book to look up the vin and that is what it is saying.... the engine code is C that is the code for a special 6 right or am i useing the wrong book to find out what we want to know..... any help would be greatly appreicated.... You are correct there were 4,695 Barracudas produced in '70 with the 225 6cyl.This is according to Galen Goviers 4th edition production option code book.

To me,a /6 Barracuda is a rare ride.I passed one up when I was in high school,because it had a /6.It even had a bench seat and auto on the column.If it's in decent shape and if it were me,a full concours resto is the way to go.
