I think it's HOT, but what's the pricetag?
The looks are GREAT and the mechanicals are too.

Is this going to be a rear wheel drive? My opinion: Get rid of the ragtop!

Thumbs up

Now that is a car that is worth going in hock for! If only they will build it, I'm just half afraid they'll spend the development dollars on buying Kia, Yugo or some other half dead company elsewhere, with Mopar bucks of course. Pardon me, still kind of stinging over the Charger cancellation.
Nice pic, RamMan!

Know what you mean about the cancellation of the Charger. This too has been axed.

They may still build the 300 Hemi C convertible. Nothing is final yet.

I was just down at the local dealer and they told me that Chrysler sent them a letter saying they WOULD build it. This comes from the guy who owns the dealership, not just a salesman.

They won't build it...Mercedes will probably steal the design and make it the next 500SL and sell it for 100,000!

Roodypoo--
I live in Devils Lake. I was at the Chrysler Center here in town. I had mentioned that their new concepts were butt-ugly and they told me that 300 Hemi C would be built.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Traveler. At least to the point that it won't be built. If Daimler did decide to build it under the Mercedes name, they'd charge Chrysler for development costs.

Don't give up hope on the Charger yet...
Yes, the Charger you saw at the show will not be made, but that just means that 'body style' will not get built. There are other designs floating around Auburn Hills, plus my *fairly* reliable source on the matter at the tech center said I will see a RWD v8 from Chrysler, regardless of anyone's "speculation" on the whole Daimler thing. These cars have been in design for many years now, and would cost Chrysler bundles to scrap them now.
I'd also like to add that *most*, not all, people at dealerships know practically nothing about what's coming through development, let alone what's actually being made that they're trying to sell. I'm sure most people here have been given a load of crap and/or a glazed look whenever you try and ask about things like this. If you want info, talk to someone in R&D, like a 'modeler'........

Probably the ONLY reason it is going to get built is because the Germans like thopse kind of cars. We dont care about those kind of cars, BUT we do care about 350bhp and RWD. Give me an Omni if it comes from the factory with that combo..I'd be happy..
Much less something that looks as good as the 300c.
