Default Are collector extension worth the money?

Are collector extension worth the money? If so what do they improve in performance and what is the best way to tune them?

on open headers, collector extensions are very worthwhile. They lengthen to collector to the proper point for it to scavenge the primary tubes. To find the proper length to cut them to, use a crayon to mark down the length. Make a few passes. Where the crayon is melted right off, just behind that is where you cut. You can use a light coat of spraypaint as well. You can also use the diameter of the extension to tune as well. Headers by Ed have stepped down extensions that can prove to be worth a lot of torque at no cost to horsepower.
