Register Now for the July 17 F.A.S.T. & Pure Stock Drags at Norwalk!

We are now taking pre-registration`s for the July 17 Factory Appearing Stock Tire and Factory Stock MuscleCar Drag Race. The cost will be $75 and will include a Martin event T-Shirt (free). $10 for spectator fee.

The event is open to all makes of 1957 to 1974 American Muscle Cars. We expect a good turnout of Mopars as usual. At least 5 Hemi cars have already registered.

There is a 30 car limit and 19 spots have been filled as of now. We will take registrations until the 30 limit is hit.

The Event will be in Norwalk Ohio at Norwalk Raceway Park on July 17th. Hours will be from 10am to 6pm.

There will be two classes: F.A.S.T & Factory Stock. There will be plenty of time trial and test time, then qualifying runs. Each class will house a quick 8 and the rest of the cars will run in a 2 of 3 shoot-out against their nearest qualifying competitor.

This will be another Year-One sponsored event. The 2 of 3 shoot-out winners will recieve a $50 Year-One gift certificate.

Everybody who qualify`s for the QUICK 8 (FAST & FS) will recieve a $50 Year-One gift certificate.

The winner of each class will recieve a $200 Y1 certificate.

The runner up will recieve a $100 Y1 certificate.

The winner & runner-up`s of the quick 8 will actually be getting $250 & $150 because they get the $50 for making the quick 8.

There will also be trophy`s.

Fastest small block....We will have something for that too...


Hemmings Motor News is comming out with a new Musclecar magazine and they will be taking care of the coverage. They are looking for cars to feature in their mag. There might be another surprise magazine there also.
