wow Quick Muscle Cars -- there is a BOUNTY on your head!

Thats right, we are paying $200 to each and every car that runs in the 11's at our next Muscle Car Shootout! This is in addition to any other prizes!
So far 5 cars have already run 11's at a FAST/FAD race, they are not eligible for the bounty.
Factory Appearing Stock Tire, or Factory stock - cars from either class are eligible.

Also in the Factory Stock class, due to popular demand from the racers, the quick 8 elimination ladder is being replaced with 2 out of 3 shoot outs. So all cars in FS will run a best of 3 heads up shoot out with their nearest qualifying competitior. So bone stock cars can still come out and have a great time running against another car with similar e.t.'s.

All 2 of 3 shoot out winners and all F.A.S.T. quick 8 qualifyers will receive a $50 Year One gift certificate.
F.A.S.T. runner up will also get $100 and winner will get a $200 certificate. Plus there will be trophys.

We have reporters from 3 magazines scheduled to be present, Hot Rod, Hemming's new Muscle Car magazine, and a Japanese magazine. So if you want to meet the reporters and possibly get your car featured, here is your chance.

The race is July 17th at Norwalk Ohio. Entry fee is $75.

Details and rules can be found at the
F.A.S.T Website

Email me at hemi67gtx@yahoo.com to reserve your spot.

Hope to see you there! Joel Nystrom

Joel,

You're everywhere! Mopar Muscle, Popular Hotrodding, HTR, This board.... where does it end?

For anyone that doesn't know Joel's car is a bit quicker than it appears, and he runs on a polyglass tire!

Later,

Greg

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I hope some of you can make to the shootout. You don't even need a quick car. It just needs to be a muscle car that is stock or looks stock and complys with the rules. We have cars that run anywhere from 15's to 11's show up and it is reallt a great time.

You'd have to lose the headers, exhaust, wheels, intake, finish the interior and change the wheels and stance.... Most cars when compared to Joel's Hemi are "Joe Dirt." It's pretty frustrating seeing a stock show car run 11's through exhaust manifolds on poly glass tires.

Speaking of the Challenger: When are we taking it to the track? Also, the Jets vs. Funny's are tonight at Firebird I think... Your daughter would enjoy it. Do you guys want to go?

Later,

Greg

Yes Joel is everywhere. Thats because his car is awesome. When a 4100 lb GTX takes out a 3400 lb ZL1 its great. Just think how fast he would be in a 68 Cuda or Dart ?? Wish I could go Joel but its a litle far for me. Good luck , Ron
