I run Champinos in all of mine just like they came from the factory with. Works just fine for me just like they did way back when.

i have a part number... they are accel spark plugs... at about $5 each... but they are about 1/4" shorter than the champions. i havent found any other short plugs. they would be accel #8197. my experience with them is limited, but they do help the wire/header problems... except for #5 on mine, which burned again tonight

you need the dei sleeves and that wont happen anymore. On our small block dirt car the 5and 7 are the only ones sleeved and the lay right against the header tube. Never has burned through. We also wrap all of our headers. It gives a slight 1 to 2 hp advantage. It reduces under hood temps and increases velocity by holding the heat to increase expansion.
