727 tranny question
Hi all, what would cause my servo in 727 with manual valve body and stage 111 shift kit to blow out, bent the snap ring and the cup that holds it in. It is trans go stage 3 kit, thanks Tim

This is a fairly common occurence, the heavier spring and the increased line pressure added by the shift kit place added stress on the already marginal tin spring retainer.
A&A has a rear servo piston kit with a billet piston and retainer. http://www.aandatrans.com/ Also, check out these nice CNC machined piston kits: http://www.moparts.org/ubb/Forum18/HTML/000012.html |

Thanks john we did manage to get it back together and we found a little side note in the kit instructions, it says to grind small lip off bottom of piston so it does not get cocked in the hole. We did that and it appears to work fine, but going to billet peices makes much sense to me, thanks Tim
