feul pressure?

Hi all, what is proper fuel pressure for older holly 750 double pumper. Mine is at 9 lbs at idle and when i rev it up with no load it stays excactly at nine, but I,m thinking that is a little high. I.ve always been told 7 to 9 is good, thanks Tim

My understanding was for a stock street engine/pump 4-7 psi

That Holley should be able to handle 7 - 9 with no problems. Once you start getting close to 10, you will push open the needle valve in the float bowls and flood the carb.
